Bookings, Deposits and Cancellations: All offers of accommodation are subject to availability and firm bookings cannot be accepted unless accompanied by a payment of 25% of the full rental price. After we accept a provisional booking it will be held for 5 working days to give time for a cheque payment to arrive. If a booking is made within a month of the arrival date a Bank transfer payment is required immediately to secure the booking.  When the payment has been received confirmation invoice will then be sent to you by email. Without this the booking is not valid. Please bring this as proof of booking. If payment has not been received within the required time we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Deposits are non refundable. We reserve the right to provide you with a similar property should the need arise. A charge of £15.00 will be made, for any changes in your booking after confirmation. In the event of a booking being cancelled within EIGHT weeks of start date, the full balance will be payable. Arrival/Departure Arrivals are from 3.30pm. The departure time is 10am Guests are asked to leave their accommodation clean and tidy all beds must be striped of used bed linen. In the event of the accommodation being damaged or left in an excessively dirty state, an invoice will be sent to cover any repairs and cleaning costs. Group Bookings Are by the management's discretion only, and a returnable cash deposit is required. Final Payment The balance of your holiday charges are due at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made by BACS – our account number is # 00496352  and sort code is #  30-91-41 or by a cheque payable to Houndapitt Farm Cottages. We do not accept credit cards. Occupants The maximum number of persons allowed to occupy each cottage is in the descriptions. Theses figures must not be exceeded, except for a baby in a cot. Damage/Cleaning The hirer is responsible for any damage or breakages, and is responsible for leaving the accommodation in good order and clean condition. A cleaning/damage charge will be levied if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition. Liability We will not accept liability for any damage or breakages to the person or personal property of the hirer or any member of his/her party. Keys Your keys will be given to you on arrival or by arrangement. Pets Pets are accepted by arrangement at a minimum cost of £20 per week or short break with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please abide by the following rules: - keep pets on a lead at all times. Off-the-lead walking is permissible when in the dog walking field. Clean up after your dog. The back field is the best place to exercise your dog rather than the cottage garden, and please note that a cleaning charge will be made if your garden is not free from dog mess on departure day. Please don’t let your dog climb on furniture or come upstairs and we do not recommend leaving your dog alone in your cottage. Lost/Forgotten items We will not be responsible for any items lost or left behind on the complex. Returns can be made by special arrangement if items are found, but in the event that they are not, we will not be held liable to replace them, or to reimburse the cost of a replacement. Smoking In accordance with the 2007 Smoking ban, smoking is prohibited in enclosed areas. Including the accommodation. Other Services Provision of the facilities at Sandymouth Holiday Park are out of our direct control, and therefore we cannot guarantee the service to our guests for any period.
